Counselling training will introduce you to the many reasons why people turn to counsellors. They may need assistance because they are a victim of family violence or lost a family member. They could be struggling with substance abuse or simply have a hard time handling life's challenges. Your counsellor training will help you learn therapeutic techniques to help all types of people in all types of situations. You will learn how to help them build self-esteem and confidence while managing and reducing stress.

Counselling training schools will also show you how to offer group counselling to help two or more individuals resolve emotional conflicts.
