You will learn how to help them build self-esteem and confidence while managing and reducing stress.

Counselling training schools will also show you how to offer group counselling to help two or more individuals resolve emotional conflicts. This directly relates to family counselling where emotions are high and all parties need to find common ground. This training can lead you to a fulfilling career in any number of fields, including marriage, substance abuse, rehabilitation, and child abuse counselling.
