You are passionate about social change. Become an advocate for those who need a strong voice, such as children, elders, those with low income, and the homeless.
The program covers law and the legal system, democratic processes, mediation and consensus building, meeting facilitation, and grant writing. You’ll be given the opportunity to choose your electives from the fields of law, leadership, communication, and social issues, and you will participate in an internship to practice and reinforce your skills.

Woodbury College’s Legal & Paralegal Studies program covers legal analysis, research and writing, litigation, interviewing, and investigation, as well as ethics.
Graduates with a Paralegal Studies Major are prepared to assume a number of tasks in legal offices, as well as non-profit organizations, governments, banks, and real estate and title insurance firms.

The Mediation and Applied and Applied Conflict Studies program can provide you with the opportunity to learn skills which will be useful throughout your personal and professional life. You will be able to help improve conditions of your community and prevent neighborhood violence, assist with resolving family disputes and settling divorces, and facilitate meetings to address workplace disputes.
The program blends intensive on-campus residency sessions, online learning, and practical application in the student’s home community to offer one of the best mediation programs in the country today.
