Do you enjoy working with computers, are detail-oriented, and can think conceptually? If this is you, consider taking the Graphic Design and Multimedia Associate Degree program at Westwood College. You will learn to create effective designs that communicate visually in both print and multimedia. This includes aspects of what you see in print, on television, the web, and movies.
This program includes courses in Digital Illustration, Digital Layout, Web Page Design, and 3D Modeling and Animation. Through your coursework, you will learn to conceptualize and develop ideas for illustrations, advertising layouts, animation, and multimedia. You will be able to apply graphic design business practices toward a variety of business situations.
Upon graduation, you could work with clients to provide proposals, designs, and services while working with industry relevant software. You could design and create web sites and interactive presentations using animations, videos, and sound. You will be prepared for a variety of careers and could work as a Graphic Artist, Graphic Designer, Production Artist, or Web Page Designer.
