Once you obtain your Respiratory Therapy Degree from Virginia College, you can become a vital member of a health care team. More importantly, you provide life to patients with breathing difficulties. Respiratory therapists provide oxygen therapy, assist with breathing, and support patients who are unable to breath on their own.
You will learn how to teach breathing techniques, administer medications that help alleviate breathing problems, and treat lung infections.
