Do you want to begin a career where your computer expertise and artistic skills can come together? You may want to consider entering the field of graphic design. By taking the Graphic Art and Design program offered at Vatterott College, you could begin a career as a Graphic Artist, Creative Artist, or Web Developer.

You will first be introduced to illustration and typography techniques and materials. You then progress to an advanced level, which includes instruction in design and layout. You will explore computer graphics on both PC and Mac platforms, moving to advanced Mac skills. Emphasis is placed on Mac, as it is the most commonly used platform within the design industry.

You will also learn advanced web design skills using Macromedia Flash. You are shown how to use computers, scanners, photographs, and artwork to create 3D graphics and models.
