Environmental Systems Technology

The Environmental Systems Technology program at Vatterott College can provide you with expansive HVAC knowledge that can help you prepare to pursue a career as a technician within large office buildings, hospitals, steam plant operation companies, and other service businesses.

You can begin by learning the fundamentals of electricity, along with how to troubleshoot problems in relation to HVAC systems. Vatterott College can also provide you with training related to refrigeration and pipefitting, including service procedures, as well as safety and environmental issues. In addition, you can learn how to analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems for residential and small commercial buildings. A final portion of your training can cover energy management systems for small and large commercial buildings.
