Are you interested in obtaining the skills required to begin a career in mechanical, civil, commercial, or residential drafting? If so, you are looking in the right place. The Computer Aided Drafting program at Vatterott College can give you the opportunity to learn both AutoCAD and manual drafting techniques.

You can start by learning basic manual drafting, mathematics, and trigonometry, before moving on to explore AutoCAD Release 14. This can show you how computers are used in a CAD environment, and help you learn how to produce a variety of drawings, including:

  • Residential drawings that meet national standards
  • Mechanical drawings for machined parts and assemblages
  • Commercial drawings
  • Drawings for civil engineering projects

In addition, Vatterott College can allow you to develop skills in elementary surveying and simplified structural engineering. This training can provide you with Design Drafter Level - ADDA certification.
