Do you have a keen interest in the skilled trades sector? Would you like to learn skills that can lead you to a career in welding? Vatterott College is here to help! You can take a Combination Welding program that can teach you everything you need to know about the field.

You will start by learning welding theory, terminology, safety, and cutting techniques. You will then learn how to weld advanced joint designs, carbon steel, ferrous, and non-ferrous metals. You are given the opportunity to use your knowledge to complete advanced welding projects.

The Combination Welding Technology Degree offers you the same skills and more. You will be shown how to read and interpret complex blueprints. You will also be shown how to perform precise measuring and fit ups. You can acquire the ability to work with commonly used metal working machines. Near the end of your training, you will spend 10-weeks working on a detailed project with a team.

Both training programs offer several welding certifications: Shielded Metal Arc Welding, MIG, TIG, T-Joints, and Flux Cored Arc Welding. With the diploma, you can gain the skills you need to begin an entry-level career fast, or you can develop deeper knowledge with the degree and begin your career at a higher level. Whatever suits your preference!
