Vatterott College Building Maintenance Technology
The Building Maintenance Technology program at Vatterott College is similar to the Building Maintenance Mechanic but it expands the learned skills to an advanced level. You will spend more time in classrooms and labs learning how to maintain and repair the mechanical components of a building.
You can develop skills in electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, and painting. You will learn about HVAC systems, including maintenance and troubleshooting. You will study plumbing and carpentry so that you can configure pipe, repair stairs, frame and install windows, and much more!
You also learn about CAD with an emphasis on HVAC and electrical drawings. You can learn how to complete drawings and blueprints using a computer. This will help you to work with energy systems while meeting state code. Your learned skills can help you begin a career as a Building Maintenance Technician!
