You will start out by learning medical terminology, prescribed treatments, and diet therapy. You will also examine the legal and ethical challenges within psychology. This includes psychomedications, treatment programs, mental illness, psychosocial histories, and thought processes.
The final portion of the Behavioral Health Technician program is a 10-week externship.
