UCC’s Pharmacy Technology program is led by professional staff who will teach you the necessary theory and practical applications of pharmacy practice, such as the methods of dispensing health care products to patients.
As a program graduate, you will be able to apply your new-found knowledge to both retail and hospital pharmacy settings. In these settings, you will be able to effectively use software programs that afford you the proficiency needed to receive, interpret, input, and fill prescriptions. Additionally, upon completion of UCC’s program, you will possess the knowledge to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCB).
