TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION COLLEGE Columbus, Ohio
Forty years ago, a small computer programming school opened in Columbus, Ohio. Today, Technology Education Center (TEC) has broadened its course offerings to include other high demand programs. TEC wants you to enjoy an individual educational experience, as opposed to the ‘one size fits all’ approach at many colleges and universities.
How is this accomplished? Instructional methods are based on adult learning theory, with the goal of developing intellectual, analytical, and critical thinking abilities. Well-prepared, experienced faculties encourage you to actively participate in group discussions and projects, lab work, simulations, and field trips. Guest speakers and lectures are offered as a real-world bridge to current industry expertise.
Technology Education College is committed to fostering growth through emphasis on ethics, accountability and professionalism. Services that support your efforts to succeed academically and personally are in place with individual advisors and tutors if required.
The facilities are pleasant and safe, with modern equipment in classrooms, library, and computer labs. You are invited to become involved with professional organizations, and a focus on communication competencies can equip you with valuable interpersonal skills that can easily transfer to a career interfacing with clients and peer professionals.
As you complete the TEC curriculum, support continues with assistance from College Career Services. Obtaining employment is facilitated with workshops, classes, and private sessions to discuss your vocational goals. A job search activity, including identification of potential job openings, is provided. In short, Technology Education College is ready and willing to offer personal attention and career preparation to assist you with valued and successful employment.
