You will be shown how to help doctors and nurses with patient exams and treatments. You can acquire specialized skills through subjects such as:
- Nurse Assistant I - A and B
- Medical Assistant I - A, B and C
- Pharmacology
- Emergency Medicine, EKG, CPR
- Medical Anatomy
- Laboratory Procedures
You are also required to complete an externship, where you can put your learned skills to work in a real medical environment. This program can also offer you CPR certification, as well as prepare you for the exams to become a Registered Nurse Aide, Registered Medical Assistant, and Phlebotomist. You could start your career in a hospital, nursing home, or doctor's office as a Patient Care Technician, Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant, and more!
