Health Science - Nuclear Medicine Nuclear Medicine
South College - Knoxville offers both a Certificate in Nuclear Medicine and a Bachelor Degree in Health Science - Nuclear Medicine. The certificate is designed for current Radiologic Technologists (RT’s) who wish to expand their skills into nuclear medicine. The bachelor degree is also for current RT’s but it more comprehensive than the certificate program. This training can provide expertise that can lead to a nuclear medicine career. Certificate program graduates can be eligible for entry-level positions whereas degree holders could start at a higher level.

Health Science - Physician Assistant
South College - Knoxville’s Master of Health Science - Physician Assistant program prepares you to practice medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician. You are shown how to offer primary and specialty care in clinical settings. This includes medical and surgical practices. You will learn how to provide high-quality patient care through didactic and clinical instruction. The didactic phase builds your knowledge of medical science and the clinical phase puts your newly developed skills into practice.
