Remington College offers the Medical Assisting with X-ray - EKG program so that you can become a Medical Assistant with advanced skills. This training can allow you to take on a position that includes X-ray and EKG responsibilities. The knowledge and abilities that you will learn throughout the program will be further reinforced through a required 144-hour externship. This is where you will gain real work experience in a medical setting and can practice learned skills. Your externship not only looks great on your resume but will also help you take your skills from the classroom to the workplace.
The program is also designed to prepare you for state certifications in X-ray and EKG. By obtaining additional certifications, you could find expanded employment opportunities. Also, graduates of Remington College’s Medical Assistant program could be eligible to complete the Medical Assisting with X-ray - EKG program in only 12 weeks!
