Dental Assisting
In the Dental Assisting program at Everest Institute, you will learn to perform chairside assisting methods, patient procedures, and office and lab duties as directed by the dentist. Dental assistants are responsible for many areas related to the delivery of dental care. You will study basic dental science, develop clinical and lab skills, and gain practical experience. This includes the use of major equipment such as model trimmers and oxygen tanks. You can graduate with expertise in clinical, radiographic, and administrative procedures. Opportunities could exist for you as a Dental Assistant, Dental Insurance Clerk, or Administrative Assistant.
