The Automotive High Performance Technology program at New England Institute of Technology is offered in unison with the Automotive Technology program. Providing you with the same solid foundation, you take it a step further and learn how to increase horsepower and torque within an automobile. You are shown how to do this by adding performance accessories, modifying powertrains, and tuning custom powertrains and suspension. This hands-on program focuses on developing knowledge through a combination of practicing and testing. You will have the opportunity to apply your skills to your own vehicle or a school-owned vehicle.
