Plumbing
Part of the Building Construction Technology program incorporates a basic plumbing section of 45 hours. Forty of these hours are lab and the remaining 5 are theory. This class utilizes the lab to provide "hands-on" experience in joining pipes. Soldering, chemical welding, and threading will be practiced. The classroom portion is a brief overview of types of plumbing materials,
joining, and supporting supply, waste, and vent pipes.
