This hands-on program consists of 900 hours of training, broken up into a balanced combination of theoretical and practical components. Upon graduation, you can be prepared to perform a variety of massage techniques, including:
- Swedish massage
- Sports massage
- Geriatric massage
- Pre-natal and infant massage
- Neuromuscular therapy
NMTI can also allow you to gain a solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology, as well as important personal skills, such as time management and employability. In addition, you can have the opportunity to receive real-life experience within the on-site massage clinic, as well as preparation for the National Certification Exam in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCETMB).
