Health Fitness Specialist Associate & Bachelor's Degree
If you are interested in health and fitness but aren't sure where to start, Minnesota School of Business' Health Fitness Specialist program can teach you a wide range of skills to help launch your fitness career. By covering a broad spectrum of health, fitness and nutritional topics, you will be able to choose from a number of professions.
MSB's Health Fitness Specialist program includes training in fitness, nutrition, exercise therapy, injury management and recreation. You will be qualified to work with the general population as well as those with special needs, such as seniors or injury recoveries. You will be able to assess a client's needs and design and administer fitness and nutritional programs tailored to those needs.
- Opportunities for qualified health and fitness professionals exist in fitness clubs, health care facilities, corporations, hospitals and senior centers.
- Choose between an Associate or Bachelor Degree program. You can complete the Associate Degree in 21 months of full-time study, and the Bachelor Degree in 36 months of full-time study.
- MSB provides smaller class sizes and individual attention to help ensure your success. The program is taught by qualified, experienced health and fitness professionals who will work with you in the attainment of your goals.
