LSB designs all program curricula to meet or exceed the expectations of today's employers. In addition, the mission of the staff and faculty is to cultivate a comfortable yet professional atmosphere that encourages the development of talent, skills, confidence, and a positive attitude.
All programs are led by experienced, professional instructors. The courses are monitored and evaluated to help ensure they stay compatible with industry trends and employer demands.
Furthermore, you can have access to various academic resources. One of the main ones is a well stocked library that is staffed by a professional librarian. Open daily, the library is available for research and individual study, as well as small group study sessions. Both printed and electronic materials are available, from books to periodicals to subscription databases. You can even obtain training on efficient internet research techniques.
Where applicable, LSB also strives to provide a maximum of practical experience. Some programs contain off-site externship or clinical components. Others involve gaining real-life experience on-site. For example, students in the Massage Therapy program can work with actual clients in the on-site spa, under the supervision of a Licensed Massage Therapist.

Support Services
LSB is dedicated to providing a well-rounded and supportive educational experience. If you find yourself needing advice or guidance during your time as a student, vocational, academic, and personal advising is available from the day you enroll to the day you graduate.

Career Planning
LSB understands that the main objective of a post-secondary education is to prepare for a career. So it's only natural that in-depth career planning and placement assistance be part of your educational experience.
