Radiologic Technology Associate of Science Degree
Helping people by using X-ray vision
You have a strong interest in physics and biology. You are compassionate. You enjoy interacting with all types of people. You don't mind being physically active and on your feet for long periods. You are inspired by the power of technology to make a positive difference in the lives of others. And you want to help provide answers for anxious and stressed-out people who are feeling uncertain about their health.
Keiser University's associate degree program in Radiologic Technology is designed to give you the training and experience you need to get started in a career as a Radiologic Technologist. You'll learn how to use specialized X-ray equipment to produce radiographic images for diagnostic purposes.
You'll engage in courses that will develop your knowledge about medical terminology, radiographic procedures, patient care, radiation protection, equipment operation, and radiographic image production and evaluation. And you'll hone your abilities to communicate effectively, think critically and solve problems.
You could soon be taking and developing X-rays in a hospital, physician's office or diagnostic imaging center. One day, with plenty of experience and more specialized training, you could have the opportunity to be a radiographic specialist and work in computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or mammography.
So take the first step and start your journey today!
