You will learn substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills based upon applied principles of biological, physical, psychological and social sciences. Once you enroll in the Nursing program at Keiser University you will be trained in observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
As a graduate, you will take part in health teaching and counseling of individuals who may be ill, injured, or infirm. You will promote wellness and maintenance of health and prevention of illness. You will learn the administration of treatments and medications as prescribed in accordance with the standards of nursing practice and the supervision and teaching of other personnel in the theory and performance of any of the above acts.
The Keiser University Nursing Program graduate can seek entry-level, professional nursing positions in all areas where health care is provided. As a professional nurse, your salary will be extremely competitive with those of other disciplines requiring the same level of education and experience.
