Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory therapists help people breathe easy. They care for clients suffering from asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, and other respiratory conditions. The Respiratory Therapy or Respiratory Care Associate Degree programs at Kaplan College will teach you how to perform therapeutic treatments that improve patients' lungs.
You are shown how to provide respiratory care and life support, determine the best therapy, manage equipment, carry out pulmonary function testing, and much more.
It is important to note that you must become licensed by the Arizona Board of Respiratory Care Examiners, and the program prepares you to achieve this licensing. Upon completion, you will be ready to work within many different health care environments, including hospitals and nursing homes.
