Massage Therapy
If you want to help people while working with your hands, you may be cut out for a career in massage. You can receive intense, hands-on training through the Massage Therapy program offered at IBT. You can obtain knowledge of Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, as well as kinesiology and exercise therapy. You will also understand the workings of the human body and the various dietary therapies available.
You will benefit from the on-site massage clinic where you participate in an ongoing internship. This allows you to take what you learn in the classroom and directly apply it in a real clinical setting. You will complete your training with practical skills and the ability to perform a wide range of massage procedures.
You will find that there are many places you can offer your skills as a Massage Therapist. You can work anywhere right from health clubs and spas to hospitals and clinics. You could even choose to work for yourself and begin your own massage practice. The options and opportunities are endless!
