Medical Assisting
Medical assistants work in a range of health care environments primarily assisting doctors. They help with patient procedures and exams. If you are interested in this career field, get ready to enter it with Health Training Center's Medical Assisting program. This training will prepare you to perform clinical, EKG, and phlebotomy techniques. You will develop medical expertise in a variety of areas.
The program will teach you how to assist with physical exams and test procedures, including allergy, skin, and pregnancy tests. You will be trained to take vital signs and record patient histories, and are introduced to pharmacology, injections, and more. Along with graduating with a certificate, you will also be eligible to become a registered medical assistant.
