The Electronics Engineering Technology degree program is designed to prepare the student for assignments in the field of electronics and electronics technology. The program emphasizes electronics lab work and includes courses in DC/AC circuit design, advanced microprocessor design and applications, and digital and analog signal processing. Students learn theory and techniques that allow them to design and evaluate electronic systems, and to make recommendations regarding their use and modification.
Graduates may be qualified to work as entry-level engineers in communications, electrical power generation and transmission, electronic design and digital design.
