Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
You will be prepared to protect your country from national and international terrorist threats once you earn your Homeland Security Associate's or Bachelor's Degree with Everest University Online. You will be shown how to effectively design, apply, and maintain security operations. You will study both civil and criminal justice systems, and develop familiarity with emergency planning, and safety and security measures. Everest University Online will also show you how to appropriately handle domestic and international terrorism threats.
The bachelor's degree option also addresses crisis management planning and directing emergency response activities. Regardless of your choice, your skills will be valuable to airports, stadiums, amusement parks, border crossings, and more. You will be able to take on a variety of positions, including Border Patrol Agent, Homeland Security Officer, or INS Agent.
The Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security program is not available in Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Associate of Science in Homeland Security program is not available in Arkansas, Kansas, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Arkansas and Minnesota graduates will receive an Associate in Applied Science degree upon successful completion of an approved associate degree program.
