Surgical Technologist
You can work with surgeons, RN's, and other surgical personnel to assist with operations. All you need to do is take the Surgical Technologist program at Everest Institute. You will learn to perform crucial tasks before, during, and after surgeries. This can include operating room preparation, instrument maintenance, and supply replenishment.
You will obtain classroom instruction and clinical experience. You will also work as an intern in a real operating room. This will help you transition into your new career, as you will have already worked in a surgical setting. Potential career opportunities exist in hospitals, surgical centers, or even dental offices that perform outpatient surgery.
