Patient Care Technician

The Patient Care Technician program at Everest Institute prepares you to provide direct patient care in a health care setting. You will acquire the expertise needed to offer clinical assistance to individuals. You will learn to work with doctors and other health professionals to look over and care for patients. You can become well versed in anatomy, physiology, body functions, and illnesses. This will prepare you to collect blood (phlebotomy), perform EKG's, and record vital signs and other pertinent information. Graduates of this program will be able to pursue certification as a Nursing Assistant, EKG Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician.
