Dialysis Technician
The Dialysis Technician program at Everest Institute prepares you for the very important job of running kidney dialysis machines. You will learn a combination of clinical and technical skills, meaning you can care for patients directly, as well as maintain and repair equipment.
You will be introduced to the principles of dialysis, dietary regulation, blood chemistries, and much more. An externship will allow you to perform many functions, such as artificial kidney preparation, fluid management, and dialysis initiation. You can complete the program to find yourself working as a Dialysis Technician, Hemodialysis Technician, or Renal Dialysis Technician.
