Learn the skills needed to assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgical personnel by taking the Surgical Technologist program at Everest College. You will learn to perform essential duties before, during, and after surgery. This includes preparation of the operating room and patients, organization and maintenance of instruments and equipment, cleaning the operating room, and replenishing supplies. You will participate in a supervised clinical experience to allow you to gain valuable experience before even completing the program. You could then find employment within hospital operating or delivery rooms, clinics, surgical centers, and outpatient surgical facilities.
