If you attend an Illinois automotive school, you can train in anything from automotive and diesel technology to Ford FACT and Toyota TPAT technology. The Ford and Toyota technology programs are unique in that they offer specific skills required to work within new car dealerships. Ford FACT prepares you to work with any vehicle in the Ford or Lincoln lineup. The same goes for Toyota TPAT training; you can gain the professional skills needed to work with Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles, including hybrids.
You can also take more general auto courses, so you can fix a variety of vehicles or even focus on the industrial automotive sector. The most difficult part for you will be deciding which program to take!
