Radiologic technology plays a key role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, illnesses, and injuries. You will be able to begin a career in the field of general radiography once you complete Colorado Technical University’s Radiologic Technology Associate Degree program. Through your training, you will learn how to dispense non-radioactive materials, create x-rays, and perform diagnostic tests.
Your instructors will guide you through the steps required to prepare and position patients, and explain the procedures. You will also be able to confidently handle emergency situations. An added benefit is the program includes an internship that places you in a clinical setting. You will rotate through general and trauma radiography, as well as surgical. This will prepare you for a stimulating career in clinics, hospitals, diagnostic imaging centers, and more!
