Nursing (AAS)
Through the Nursing (AAS) program at Concorde Career Colleges, you will learn how to offer and manage patient care while assisting the rest of the health care team. You will start out by taking general education and nursing theory classes. You also participate in clinical practice during this time. Once you have the basics down, you will work through increasingly complex nursing courses.
Along with advanced patient care concepts, you also explore specialty areas, such as mental health and pediatric nursing. The training you receive builds your expertise with nutrition, pharmacology, community health, and so much more. You will graduate with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing and will be prepared to write the National Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses.
Once you pass the exam, you will be ready to work as an RN in any number of medical establishments. This includes hospitals, long-term care facilities, and surgical centers. The rewarding career you desire is within your reach!
