Medical Assisting Associate Degree or Diploma
The objective of the Medical Assisting Associate Degree or Diploma program is to provide the graduate with the knowledge and ability to perform various administrative and clinical procedures, in a medical office, clinic or health care facility at the entry-level.
The student is trained to carry out clinical procedures such as recording vital signs, conducting routine lab procedure, basic diagnostic procedures, EKG’s and phlebotomy. Administratively, the student is trained in front office procedures such as greeting patients, computer operation, filing, billing, scheduling and insurance claims.
