Health Information Technology Associate Degree or Diploma
The objective of the Health Information Technology Associate Degree or Diploma program is to prepare the student for entry-level employment opportunities as medical information coders, medical insurance specialists, medical insurance processors and other medical administrative positions.
Students are trained to perform duties using coding systems to classify medical data. Computer based medical software and industry recognized word processing software is utilized in the training. Students are trained to work with third party payers using uniform billing practices.
