The Web Development Certificate program ensures all bases are covered, with classes being separated into four different categories.
Web Development Foundation gives students a solid base, including Javascript basics, while the Data Driven Web Development component provides a more detailed skill set with leading applications, such as MySQL, PHP and XML. Rich Media Web Development gives students the tools to rise to their creative best, using Adobe Flash for dynamic, interactive websites. The final component, Managed and Socialized Content for the Web provides students with the knowledge and skills to use the industry’s latest open source content management toolsets, including DRUPAL.
Throughout the four components of the certificate program, students will create projects with increasing complexity, generating a broad portfolio of sample sites to showcase their web development, integration and deployment skills and secure their place in the web development industry.
