Medical Assistant
Culinary Academy of New York offers the Medical Assistant program so you can learn how to handle administrative and clinical tasks within a health care setting. You can become proficient with lab, clinical, and diagnostic procedures, including phlebotomy and EKG. You also develop office skills related to medical insurance, coding, billing, and office management. You can further prepare for your career as a Medical Assistant through the required 200-hour externship. This can help set you up for success within the medical field!
