The Brown College Information Technology degree program includes the areas of: information systems theory, design and management; hardware and software; networks and telecommunications; database management; security design and maintenance; and the Internet and current issues in technology. The program also provides students with grounding in business management theory and practice, in the primary areas of financial, marketing, organizational and human resource management.

The Network Development program at Brown College teaches students how to design, install, and maintain networks. It includes hands-on computer training with industry-standard equipment. Students will develop understanding of client/server platforms while focusing on software and hardware upgrading.
