Brown College's Bachelor of Science in Communication program exposes students to the skills needed to plan, develop, coordinate, and implement programs of information dissemination to promote a favorable view of an organization, products or services and to increase market share.

In the communication program, students can learn to inquire, research, analyze, measure, reason and document as well as gain the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a professional team environment. Students also gain exposure to the legal implications and ethical issues within communication-related fields, an understanding of the relationship and interaction between information and communication in business and society, and an understanding of the impact of emerging new technologies within the communications field.

Business Management

The Brown College Bachelor of Science in Business Management provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to perform at a professional management level in various segments of the business economy. The business management program provides students with grounding in business management theory and practice, in the primary areas of marketing, finance, operations and human resources. The program is rounded out with a General Education curriculum designed to provide Business Management professionals with the life skills necessary to be successful in their chosen field.
