Quality communication requires well-trained and educated employees. Today's radio professional must possess performance skill, creativity, marketing savvy and equipment agility. The broadcasting industry is exciting and rewarding, and its competitive core ensures a successful career for the trained and motivated individual.

From show prep, writing for broadcast, and vocal interpretation to operating an audio console and digital multi-track recording, the Radio Broadcasting Schools Program at Brown College prepares students for entry-level positions in the fast-paced radio industry.

Within the degree program is an in-depth exploration of the relationship between broadcasting and the Internet, and a general education component that develops problem-solving and human relationship skills, and contributes to the shaping of a well informed broadcasting personality.

Students who successfully complete the 15-month program will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Radio Broadcasting. Students are prepared for entry-level broadcasting positions, which typically include disk jockey shows, newscasts, audio productions, and sales.
