Nursing Bridge Program
The associate's degree program in Nursing provides students with general principles and knowledge in the biological and behavioral sciences, as well as the science of nursing. This knowledge forms the basis for utilizing the nursing process in a professional practice. Integration of theory into clinical practice is an important aspect of professional nursing education.
This program prepares students for testing required by the Kansas State Board of Nursing to obtain licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse. A Registered Nurse is qualified to work in hospitals, long-term care facilities, home health environments, and a variety of other health care areas.
