Professional Photography Program
Photography is not about simply taking pictures; it is about capturing a moment in time or the feelings and emotions of that time. You can learn how to do this by building your technical and creative skills in the Professional Photography program at Brooks Institute of Photography.
Students in this program can choose from six concentrations in the field of photography:
- Advertising
- Commercial
- Digital Imaging
- Digital Media
- Industrial/Scientific
- Portraiture
Along with a selected concentration, you can also choose to take the specialty photography courses. These courses include the following areas: undersea, travel, nature, celebrity, and architecture. You will spend a lot of time in the studio where you will learn about light, exposure, composition, and film and digital image production. You will also have the opportunity to get out of the studio and work on location assignments where you take a project from concept to completion.
