Do you have a heart for assisting animals? Although most vet techs work in private practices, the field is quickly expanding to include positions in humane societies and wildlife rehabilitation centers. As a student in Broadview University's Veterinary Technology program, you will learn how to handle and care for animal patients of all sizes and species, assist with their surgical and medical procedures, run lab tests, prepare vaccines, and clean surgical instruments. As a program graduate, you will be prepared to support veterinarians and wildlife rehab staff in surgical work, laboratory procedures, radiography, anesthesiology, prescribed treatment and nursing, and client education.
