Medical Billing and Coding

The Medical Billing and Coding program at Bohecker College can provide you with hands-on learning through lectures, demonstrations, and projects. You will learn about billing procedures, procedural and diagnostic codes, and medical terminology.

This program can also allow you to become proficient with medical software, and insurance rules and regulations. You are also required to participate in a 160-hour externship so you can practice learned skills and get a feel for a real work environment.

Once you complete the program, you should be able to produce insurance claims, collect proper patient information, submit claims, receive reimbursements, and much more!
