As the population grows, so does the demand for new residential, commercial and industrial climate-control systems. Homeowners and businesses must keep their systems in good working order to ensure safety, comfort and efficiency. All of this must be accomplished within the environmental laws of the region. Because of these and other factors, the U.S. Department of Labor expects employment in this field to grow faster than the average for all occupations through 2012.
