Motorcycle Technology Training
Passion, love, excitement. These words barely begin to describe how you feel about motorcycles. There is no better day than winding down a highway, sun beaming down on your face, wind whipping through your hair, all with the incredible feeling of raw power that comes with riding a motorcycle. Motorcycles are your life; you ride them, you fix them, and now you are looking for a career that allows you to apply this unbridled enthusiasm. Attending the Motorcycle Technology program at the Baran Institute of Technology can assist you in realizing this dream.
You recognize that a motorcycle is a delicate, complex machine and Motorcycle Technology training equips you with the know-how to keep them running at their finest. You receive hands-on training with various brands of motorcycles while using a Snap-On tool kit designed specially for the program.
You broaden your understanding of electrical, fuel, and exhaust systems to ensure you keep motorcycles running properly. You also uncover the mechanics behind engines, clutches and transmissions, and the chassis and brakes. Work in a shop with no more than 20 students and finish the program within one year (taking daytime classes).
You will graduate with real world skills, ready to assume an entry-level position as a motorcycle repairer or technician. You could work in a repair shop, private fabrication bike shop, or with a manufacturer such as Harley Davidson or Kawasaki. You have watched American Chopper. Now it is time to take the next step and live the dream!
