Fashion Retail & Merchandising
Once the fashion merchandise has been shipped to its retail destination, it is ready to be purchased.
Fashion merchandisers first create interesting and appealing displays that are designed to pull the customer in and make the garment stand out. If you have ever walked by a store window, seen a beautiful display of mannequins and other props, and have been enticed into the store to see more, that is the work of a fashion merchandiser. This is the time to close the deal. The customer purchases the garment and the fashion designer has succeeded at creating an item that the target market will enjoy.
This is the final step in the fashion design process.
